Not only does it include a heat-tempered glass lid with an adjustable steam vent knob – it now contains 20 percent more diamond crystals. Coated with the new Swiss Diamond XD nonstick formula, this sauté pan is ideal for sauces, vegetables, cubed meat, and more!

About the XD line: The PFOA-free XD coating ensures that cleanup is a breeze. All you need is hot water and a soft, soapy sponge to get this pan back in pristine condition. Cooking with oil is now an option – not necessary – as the XD coating is engineered to be used without oils or butters. European craftsmanship is evident in every aspect of this kitchen essential. The heavy-duty cast aluminum body distributes heat evenly and efficiently to warm all contents of the pan. The extra thick cast aluminum body also features a perfectly flat base that will not tip, spin or warp, while also providing uniform heat distribution. Strong, rivet-free handles prevent unsightly food build-up and even stay cool on the stovetop. Because it is oven-safe up to 260°C (500°F), transferring the pan from oven, to stove top, to table top.
