Refund Policy
Up to 14 days before the class date:
We will issue a Class Gift Voucher of the full value of the class for future registration in another class.
Within 14 days of the class date:
No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations less than 14 days before the class date. You are welcome to send someone in your place.
If it is necessary for us to cancel a class, we will issue a full refundor offer an exchange for another class. By purchasing a class online, in the store or via the phone, you automatically agree to the aforementioned terms and conditions.
Age Restrictions
Classes are open to all ages. Children must be 12 years or older to attend class without a parent or guardian. Anyone under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, both the child and parent/guardian must have a purchased seat.
Allergen Information
We cannot guarantee the absence of any allergens in our kitchen, on our work spaces or tools.
If you have a severe allergy, please use your judgement if you feel safe to attend. You are welcome to participate, take notes, learn some new skills and take your food home for others to enjoy! Eating food is done at your own discretion.
FAQ
- What if I can't make it? We do not offer refunds, exchanges or credits, but you can transfer your seat to a friend!
- Can I take extra food home? Yes! Bring your own container from home if you think you will have leftovers. We will not provide take-home containers.
- Do I need to bring anything? Most of the time, no! Skills classes may require you to bring your favourite tool and will be noted in the class info. Otherwise, you are not required to bring anything. We will provide all cooking tools, food, recipe and a pen for notes.
- Can I record the class? No. There is no recording permitted during the class, however reference photos can be taken!
Other Terms & Conditions
Photographs and video may be taken in class to be used for promotional content on our social media platforms, newsletters, website, advertisements or other distributions for Vinca's Kitchen, please inform us if you prefer not to be in any photographs or videos.
About the Chef
Annelies Baldwin grew up in the Netherlands, with and amongst flowers, so floral
design naturally became a passion which she chose to explore further.
She began with basic floral design at Langara College, and continued with
advanced floral design through the Floral Design Institute in Portland,
becoming a Certified Floral Designer.
During the pandemic she embraced the opportunity to deepen her
knowledge and refine her skills by enrolling in online master
programs across Europe. Once she was able to, she travelled to Europe to enrich her education
through in-person workshops and classes, something she continues to do
to refine her skills.
Annelies sources fresh, high quality florals, locally and from around the world.
She combines them with care and artistry, creating designs for events,
weddings, tributes and gorgeous everyday bespoke bouquets, that reflect
the unique personality and vision of her clients.
Her goal is simple - to bring the joy and natural beauty of flowers into
peoples lives.
